EcoLens Lab is Co-Climate’s participatory media and storytelling program exploring the intersections of climate, culture, everyday life, and collective imagination.
Explored the Voordekunst fundraising ecosystem alongside creative partners, demonstrating how community-based support models can strengthen independent projects.
Designed as a collaborative creative space, EcoLens Lab brings together women, youth, and underrepresented communities through film, multimedia storytelling, and co-creation processes. The program focuses on transforming climate conversations into human-centered narratives rooted in lived experience, memory, identity, and social connection.
Through workshops, short films, visual storytelling, and experimental media practices, EcoLens Lab creates spaces where participants do not simply consume narratives about climate change, but actively shape and share their own stories.
The lab also explores community-based and independent production models, drawing inspiration from collaborative fundraising ecosystems and participatory cultural practices. By working collectively with artists, filmmakers, researchers, and local communities, EcoLens Lab investigates how creative solidarity and shared storytelling can strengthen independent cultural production.
Rather than approaching climate only as an environmental issue, EcoLens Lab examines how it reshapes emotional landscapes, migration experiences, gender dynamics, cities, and everyday social life.
