At Co-Climate, we build trust through visible, participatory, and socially engaged projects that connect communities, culture, and climate action. Our work demonstrates how storytelling, creative production, and collaboration can foster impact at both local and international levels.

Selected Projects and Initiatives:

ECOLENS PROJECT

Explored the Voordekunst fundraising ecosystem alongside creative partners, demonstrating how community-based support models can strengthen independent projects. The initiative also deepened our understanding of participatory storytelling and collaborative production practices.

WO=MEN & NEW WOMEN CONNECTORS

Through active participation in the Dutch Gender Platform, Co-Climate engaged with a network advancing gender equality across the Netherlands. In a workshop with New Women Connectors, we explored the question: “At COPs, why are marginalized groups not positioned as primary decision-makers?” Using a Root Cause Analysis approach, participants examined the deeper structural, historical, and political drivers behind this climate injustice. The group not only identified root causes but also proposed thoughtful and inspiring solutions, fostering transformative reflections on leadership, storytelling, and collective action.

GEMEENTE RİJSWİJK CLIMATE WEEK

‘What is the cost of outfit?’

Co-organized with Gemente Rijswijk, this public learning event brought together climate, consumption, and cross-cultural dialogue in an interactive space. The event fostered community engagement and became a catalyst for ongoing collaborative projects.
